How many of you out there held a book launch? How many didn't?
I did last year with my first book, CURSES!, but I'm debating doing another one for FROGGY STYLE. So what are the advantages and disadvantages? For those who go to launches or don't go, please jump in to.
A friend, Jenny Henry, she deserves the credit here, suggested a tweet-launch, which is a brilliant idea. What about offering some cool prize if people tweet or facebook or pinterest or blog (whatever really) about my book coming out? Would you all be down for that? It might be fun. And I'd definitely find a great prize and it won't include swapping spit with amphibians, although that might make for an interesting youtube video...
Please let me know your thoughts. Any comment is appreciated. About book launches, stop commenting about how much I suck. It really does hurt my feelings...
