What Are You Reading?
I'm between writing projects right now and I need a good book to curl up with? Not that my nook's not full of unread books, but I'm always on the lookout for something new. So please help me out and give me book recommendations. What are you reading now? Whose your favorite author and why?

I Wanna Be a NANoWRIMO Weiner...ummm...Winner
Oh God, it's that time again. My throat is swelling with fear, so thick I think I might choke. My heart pounds and sweat pours from my every pore. Yep, it's almost November and time for National All Writers Are Freaking Insane Month better known as NaNoWrimo. This is the month where writers all over the world attempt to write a novel in a month. Yes, you heard me, a novel in a month. To win, you just need to finish the novel. 50,000 words. A plot. Perhaps a character or two. In a MONTH!
Here's my last year's rant on Nanowrimo:

So many of my writer friends win every year, and I hate them! Each and every one. Oh you know who you are...
But instead of going on a mass writerly murder spree (which was my favorite option), I've decided to ignore the temptation to write a novel in a month, Ha! Like that will happen, and go for option 2. Just write. I will engage in the insanity and enjoy doing it. Because, as stated above, writers are crazy.
So what about you? Will you participate in the craziness? What's your novel about? Do you find November as painful as I do?
